This league is a joke, you can cause head injuries but god dammit don't you put your hand on the puck

tough game tonight boys but the season is a marathon not a sprint. yea it might look bad that we've lost the past few games but in the long run, i'm sure we'll be fine and won't even remember these losses.

hopefully once we get more healthy we'll get back on track but it's certainly gonna be a tough few games if we're missing our top guys like tonight. just remember that teams that make it into the playoffs don't make it off a good stretch for a couple weeks (or teams miss it cuz they sucked for a few games) but for playing and getting enough points throughout the whole season.

This pretty much sums it all up.

Interesting comments on Richards and a clear cut picture of that piece of garbage Pacioretty's hit on McDonagh.

when I woke up this morning, I really did need to come to my senses for a few moments whether or not that was real last night.

You could not make that up

Think about this, think how many players might not play tuesday vs. Winnipeg? Sauer obviously, but Nash, Powe, Asham, Girardi, Mcdonagh and Del zotto. We might see Mcilrath, but we also might see guys like Logan Pyett, Jyri Niemi, or Blake Parlett.

it's crazy. This condensed schedule I think has a lot to do with it.

Teams that have been lucky and have avoided the injury bug thus far, look out, the beast is out there.

And the beast beez a hungry mutha effer this year

Remember the division alignment in the mid to late 90s? Patrick turned Atlantic was NYR, NYI, NJD, PITT, PHI, then Washington, TB & FLa? crazy. 2 divisons in each conference. It really hurt teams like the 95-96 Rangers who I think had the 2nd or 3rd best record that yr but were a 3rd seed cause Pittsburgh was all world that year (yet again) & finished above us.

Seems like that realigned division looks similiar to that.

I love the CBC announcer quote of "Mcdonagh sees him coming", why no one ever says "he sees his back as he hits him", anyone defending Pacioretty or blaming Mcdonagh for "turning into the hit" Are clear Rangers haters, putting no common sense into what happened, some Devils troll on Carps article claiming to have actually played hockey says Mcdonagh should have stood up straight "it's what's taught to you first":, yeah everyone plays he puck standing straight up.

Wasn't Montreal looking into criminal charges against Chara after he hit Pacioretty? I wonder if they do the same here.

We were watching the game at my buddy's house, Ranger fan, undoubtedly a dirty hit. Look at the Habs fan reaction in the posted picture. Brutal.

They showed his stats after the game, 3 hits in 12 minutes...minus 2. Might have had 2 or 3 shots. He seemed to pop up during the 3rd period often.
