Exactly, it sucks to see them play this poorly but this year will end mercifully and we can look forward to next season.

Coach should stay, but I am solvent in the fact they need to make a roster move or two.

X-rays on Girardi were negative, which means the warrior will be in no later Han Thursday

Holy poop! Marla Hooch...what a hitter!

I love how guys who almost get they're career ended on dirty hits, go around throwing similar hits like Pac.

Like Brashear who could have been killed by McSorley & when he got back to the game made a career by being the dirtiest weasel around.

What a POS. Montreal is such garbage. I hate losing to inferior teams.

Love the points made here about the lack of balls. Startling coming from a team who just last year would have NEVER of let Pac leave the ice without a shiner on his ugly mug at the very least.

So last year we manage to escape the year without any major injuries... with the exception of Gaborik in the playoffs, but he still played through it.

This year, 1/3 of our roster is sitting on the sidelines at this point. This is painful to watch, very painful.

Heres the thing with the amnesty buyout with Richards... I dont know if I totally blame his game.

With a guy like Ruff available now as a coach, I think exploring the option of bringing him in might be something to consider. I like Torts, I think he is a good coach, but I think the Rangers are getting exposed this year after teams got a good look at them last year.

Hey look! Its our two first round draft picks from 2007. (frank)ing Gomez

Thats probably going to be a suspension though. Not a good hit, for sure.

I think a lot of you have already hit the nail on the head. You lost a lot of grit and added more finesse. From an outsider's perspective, that has a lot to do with it. A lot of liberties have been taken with your players with no fear of retribution...not good. That's your biggest difference from last year.

He has a hearing later today, think he should get at least 3, if not more depending on Macs injury status but who knows with this league.

It's a phone hearing, I'd put good money he doesn't get a game, Shanny is still bitter we didn't resign him, the league hates NY, I.E. Carkner,Neil.

Richards has to be bought out and you go after Getzlaf, younger and not slowing down.

Its an interesting scenario, however if youre gonna do that, might as well kick tires on Malkin too although theres slim to no chance Pens dont resign him.

As far as grit, we lost prust and dubi...right? True those 2 were
Real warrior types who played a lot of minutes (unlike Asham
who's got grit but not enough game) but its only 2 guys and not
Exactly world beaters. I'd say the team as a whole doesn't seem
To be taking care of the details like they did last year whether
It be hitting, puck battles, defensive coverage, backing each
Other up, etc. which could be a result of an attitude shift / lack of team unity
that Comes with swapping out lunch pail
Guys for stars. Or maybe they just aren't clicking yet with the
New faces. Or they are tired of Torts overbearing and unforgiving
style. Or they had no training camp or preseason for torts to
Hammer his philosophy into the team.

But how can anyone hate Tavares?

Zero chance the Pens let Malkin go anywhere. They would be foolish to do so. With Malkin, Neal and Crosby on that team, it doesn't even matter who the rest of their forwards are, as long as they are competent.
