speaking of small forwards, the KHL are in their playoffs right now.
I wonder when his team is done if Zuccarello will be on his way back here. I think there is a good chance. - jimbro83
what's his game been looking like this year? he lovin being back on the big ice?
nevermind, 28 point in a 44 game season, 2 points in 2 playoff games so far.
i guess if you're going to bring up a kid with Thomas' size, you'd better do it against a smaller team like the Habs |

So Kreider-Miller-Thomas line? haha
A lot to ask of this kid, make your NHL debut in the place where demons haunt the Rangers. |

Honestly I thought this kid was still a year or two away. Crazy they are calling him up now. I have no idea what to expect from him. What happened to Marek Hrivik and Kyle Jean? I thought those two had better size and were more NHL ready? |

Move had to be made to bring up Thomas,it's retroactive so he play any game after tonight. |

Jean only has 21 points in 53 games. Hrivik has 22 points in 32 games. Both are on the minus side of +/- and neither has more than 10 goals. |

The swing of emotions for Ranger fans were nuts in that era. 1992 they look like they're gonna finally win the Cup, Ron Francis nets one in from the red line & all goes south & we lose to Pittsburgh. Then the team totally collapses late in 93 & misses the playoffs. Then we win the Cup the next year. What a time. - B2B76
then along came a team from new jersey with a goalie from montreal and the new york teams have become 2nd tier teams ever since. |

This is where I love Torts, he is using our depth of youth to kick some veteran's butts in gear, now I ave reason to watch tonight's game. - cranford93
Dont get too excited he'll probably play 2 minutes on the 4th line. Torts doesnt play the young guys all that much right off the bat

sorry just stating the facts. the last 20 years the devils have been by far the best team in the metropolitian area. oh and for the record the devils already have brodeur's replacement, in the minors. |

This is the problem with SOME Devil fans...always worried about what the other area teams are doing..ie..NYR,Philly,NYI,PITT. The Devils will always be also-rans in the Metro area including PA teams. You have a Devils board to post on go over there. Unless you want to post something of value ,hockeywise. Better yet, go find Sam Woo and you can have a circle jerk over how much better the Debbies are than the Rangers.

Asham out. Staal and DZ are game time decisions.
so the line up could look like
Callahan Richards Gaborik
Hags Stepan Kreider
Pyatt Boyle Miller
Mashinter Halpern Thomas
Mcdonagh Stralman
Girardi Gilroy
Bickel Eminger
Biron.
That's very, eh, different.
