think it's worth dropping perron or parenteu for him to just keep him on the bench?
- 2Real

I'd drop Parenteau, but I'm bad at these sort of things. Lupul might get put back on the top line in Toronto

I was going to say picky picky...
but it is all true

not wanting to be negative after a win, but they really make things a lot harder on themselves. the jets played hard today and i give them credit for the pressure, but, jeez....get the (frank)ing puck out of the zone.

i apologize. i suggest taking a screen shot of the standings because by tonight, they're likely be back at 12 or something.

they may very well make the playoffs based on ottawa not having enough guys left to ice a team

and that was just one sequence. it happened repeatedly where they tried to baby it out with lobs in the middle or chips off the wall or they get caught from behind and stripped. it's a problem. the jets 2nd goal with schenn getting stripped at the line when he had a clear out - that poop can't happen and can be the difference between 0 and 2 points. he was terrific today, but just pointing out that one example.

I agree. Have to get a bunch of areas buttoned up. Can still be a good team. I guess the inconsistencies shouldn't be unexpected.

So they have the Laffs on Monday. Time to pick up some points on teams in front of them. In other news the Caps hammered the devils 5-1 today. Not a bad hockey day so far. I gotta get some poop done. Y'all enjoy the weekend and I'll check ya Monday.

Phillies have traded Michael Schwimmer. Cancel the parade
- Jsaquella

It was just a matter of who would be traded first ... Michael Schwimmer or Nick Foles.

They got first baseman Art Charles in return.

Sounds like a jazz pianist. The Art Charles trio

Just saw the hit Malkin took to the boards, wow, looked liked a lot of whiplash. I'm not sure how hard Malkin's head hit the board.

Jake is now tied for 5th overall in the league in points with 22, Giroux is tied for 14 with 18.

I know that some people may disagree with me but I think on pure talent its not even close between which pair is better for the Flyers:

Giroux and Jake

vs

Richards and Carter

Agreed I'm just glad Voracek is giving G additional space on the ice with his puck handling abilities. Once Hartnell gets into better shape by playing, I expect this line to be dynamic.

Went out skating during the game today. (Only time off to do anything this week)

Wore the jersey out on the river. A lot of friendly back and forth between Jets fans.

A lot of them didnt look so happy when the game got tied at 3-3.

I was really hard on Voracek and Brayden Schenn early in the season. They looked lost.

Both have really picked it up. Great to see
