Agreed I'm just glad Voracek is giving G additional space on the ice with his puck handling abilities. Once Hartnell gets into better shape by playing, I expect this line to be dynamic. - ravishingone
I think this is the reason Hartnell's foot healed so fast...
the idea of playing with Jake and Klode.
Hartsy is going to get a ton of scoring chances.
I really wish Read was still in the line up, because teams are going to have to go all out against 19/28/93 and it is going to open up some scoring for the other lines.
When Couts finally gets a goal I think he is going to go on a scoring streak.
He has been getting a lot of great chances lately. |

I like Read and Coots paired together. They showed some good chemistry. B. Schenn really has proved adept from the dots to below the goal line. He gets knocked off of his skates a little much, but I think he will continue to get physically stronger.
Danny B. just appears to have lost a step. I hope he can step it up, just doesn't seem as quick at getting into shooting position around the face off circle or below the goal line. |

Went out skating during the game today. (Only time off to do anything this week)
Wore the jersey out on the river. A lot of friendly back and forth between Jets fans.
A lot of them didnt look so happy when the game got tied at 3-3. - flyer_nutter
Nutter,
What's the opinion of Big Byuf in Winnepeg? Do they look at him as a part of the long range future? I was skeptical when he was moved back to d-man after the Cup run, but I think he is pretty decent in his own end. Of course, don't watch that many Jets' games. |

very different players. - hammarby31
Yup and don't get me wrong..I think Richards is the best leader of that group currently.. Not saying I don't think Giroux could not surpass him given the age difference.
I just think on pure talent alone I would take Giroux and Jake...Plus Simmonds and Couturier. |

I was really hard on Voracek and Brayden Schenn early in the season. They looked lost.
Both have really picked it up. Great to see - flyer_nutter
I was beginning to criticize Jake rite before he turned the corner and started to pick up his play.
I guess he needed to burn off all of that home cooking that he enjoyed while playing over seas.

flyers win a battle of wills...agree w/ tocchet. if WPG ever gets better center play, they'll be a handful. |

If you think about it they would be another perfect trading partner...they need a center and have planty of defensemen..granted Hainsey is a pending UFA I believe |

Just saw an interview with Byfuglien.
That dude is huge. It can't be good for his health to be that big and be a hockey player. |

What defenseman on Winnipeg would you be interested in? All that I have interest in, is Enstrom. |

What were his minutes in the third?
He was out there every other shift at least. - Marc D
I added it up, Giroux had 8 minutes, 18 seconds in the 3rd period. |

Exactly what I was wondering. The concerns I was expressing were the same issues that dogged him in Columbus.
I guess he was just working off the rust.

Voracek right now looks dominant out there,
the kind of a guy who can change games around.
