I'd go one year $4mm...not going to give him more than one year. Last thing they need is another over 35.

I wont deny that I am.

If they stick with him, and give him a real chance for a few seasons I think we will have a great 4th liner for years to come.

Berube has worked with him on controlling his emotions, and the guy has the heart of a lion. I'd like to see the team experiment with putting him on the PK next season and seeing if he can handle the responsability.

Dont know why, but I see a bit of Lappy in the kid. Give him time to grow and leave him in the lineup.

He's making it easy to be a fan of his. He is playing his role to a T. He takes some penalties, some of which are bad calls. But his good outweighs the bad in my opinion. Don't know if he'll ever be the type of player that Lappy was though.

Philly won't get a young stud D-man unless Homer is willing to break up the young nucleus of talent on this team. Not going to happen I think. Other tradable players on this team have NMC's. Drafting a D-man is much harder than selecting a forward. Really difficult to predict/measure potential for defenseman and the development process is much longer. Hence why PHI always draft forwards.

Was hoping for another crazy offer sheet by Homer for Subban but it didn't happen.

They have a significant amount of organizational depth at center 25 or younger : G, Coots, B Schenn, Laughton, and Cousins. I don't expect all of these guys to be here in two years. I expect someone or two will be traded to bolster the blueline with a similiar young puck moving still hasn't reached his potential d-man.

Or they just offer sheet OEL and see what happens, especially if ownership in Phoenix is still unsettled.

I'd probably be OK with him getting substantially more than $1 million, but a 3 year deal for a guy over 35 is too risky. 2 Years at $2.75 million per. GID Holmer.

I might be okay with a two year deal.

I just want you to know Jsaq that your avatar, when I'm scrolling and see it out of the corner of my eye, looks exactly like the Led Zeppelin IV album cover.

Then I look at it and realize I'm an idiot

Team needs a coaching change, Lavi can take his system and take a hike.

Ever since the dry island crap, and getting raped by the Devils in the playoffs. I had enough of him for one lifetime.

Stolarz has been very impressive with London. 12 games played .920 save % with one shutout. He should get even more playing time next year with London.

He'll likely be their #1 right now for the rest of this regular season & playoff run. He's gotten much better as he's gotten more playing time.

Now that is impressive, I know one of their goalies is out of junior eligibility after this year. It would be great to see him play in the Memorial Cup.

Montreal giving the Rags the business.

Nash is concussed, Del Zotto has a hip injury, and McDonagh left tonight's game.
