The only Major I miss is, Major Doody who was a guest on the Howard Stern show numerous times. He would identify any breed of dog from eating their crap. Guy was a real talent.

Myers is too much of a risk with his contract. If his level of play doesn't return, you're basically paying Chris Therien $5mm+ a year

Ellerby, Lokotinov, even Ponikarovsky were had for late round picks. I wouldn't mind seeing Holmgren acquire a project for a late round pick. A 5th round pick or later has less than a 15% chance to ever play an NHL game.

You know, even aside from some of the up and down performances lately, Ive been having fun watching the current team.
It's like a back lane hooker, you never know if you will catch that STD or not, but thats part of the fun.
The unpredictability makes them interesting in a weird way.
