He gets pushed off the puck like a small child. Doesn't play defense, floats around like a feather. Scores once a month.

That's a good question. Perhaps as a winger on the 2nd line. From Left Wing lock, the second line has been Marchand, Seguin and Bergeron. Briere would look good with Bergeron & Lucic
- Jsaquella

Yes he would. Also, with the trade of Thomas, Boston still has two compliance buy outs. I still believe Danny B has a lot to offer on a PP on the wing, which is currently occupied by G. I love what Danny B has done for the Flyers, but the reality the present and future at center for the Flyers is G, Coots, Schenn, and Laughton.

The last thing I am going to throw out there regarding trades is Montreal.

They wanted Briere when he chose Philly originally and I could see them wanting him at the deadline. They would obviously have to clear some space, and I dont really like anything they have to offer in terms of players already signed.

In my opinion, there was more at play there then just who the Coach has confidence in. I think it was the Coach rewarding a player for bringing it all game. And sitting those and cutting ice time of those who didn't. I'd like to see more of that from the Coach.

i watched the end again and lava sent out the whole couturier line, they had had a great game and he sent them all over the boards zac included

okay, I wonder if they would give him the Laughton treatment and give him the trial looksie next season. He seems like an intriguing prospect.

It's possible.

Isn't what you just suggested the coach showing confidence in a player?

At Albany devils verses Hershey bears game. Kevin Marshal is absolutely dreadful with puck. Ryan Poultony(spelling) scored though.

Panaccio just tweeted that Al Morganti says if the Flyers become "sellers", Boston would be willing to take on Danny Briere.

If he'd be willing to waive his NMC, I think I might try to move him now anyhow, sellers or not.

- Jsaquella

Do you think Briere would waive his NMC? I'm very skeptical about that happening.

Yes, but the point I'm making is that's not why, in my opinion Rinaldo was out there. The Coach was sending a message.
