That isn't very good....I wouldn't be surprised if he's gone for the rest of the season- either actually suffering through symptoms that long, as a precaution, or a combination of the two....that was an ugly, ugly hit his head took.
Here's a to speedy recovery. I hate his guts, but it's never good to see injuries to anyone.
Besides, we can't watch him blow his top and go after Cooter and then see Coots skate away laughing if Malkin is injured |

A lot depends on how soon he gets symptom free. short term memory loss is common, actually, during concussive episodes. |

Yeah I understand. I don't remember what happened after my second one....
But we'll see. Usually teams don't come out and say that the player didn't remember what happened, so I took that as it was a little more serious than "normal".
But they're all different. We all know this.
My point still stands. Here's to a quick recovery.

They say he's doing good, but they're following the protocol, apparently he's been symptom free since that night. |

I haven't been reading up on it- the only thing I've been reading is Galileo and Renaissance art because I've been writing a paper on it
Good to hear he's doing better. The way his head whiplashed into the boards like that....it could have been a whole hell of a lot worse |

That was scary, not as abd as Anisimov from Columbus. - Jsaquella
That was when he not only took the accidental elbow to the chin, but a guy fell forearm first onto his face, right?
Sort of near the trapezoid line?
I also want to say here's to your recovery as well, Jsaq! Concussions are not fun at all |

Toss my name into the Robidas bandwagon. That'd be nice to see him on this team.
Only a 3.3 hit |

Depending on the price, yeah. He's older, but he's still playing at a relatively high level. |

Bill, would the flyers be interested in Robidas if they were in playoff contention? What would the cost be given he would be an UFA? - bird_dog
He wouldn't be a UFA this summer. He's signed for one more season. But yes I do think the Flyers would have interest. Robidas is Dallas' (lesser) Kimmo Timonen -- plays in all game situations, undersized but fearless, plays through pain, etc. He's also a RH shot and Grossmann was paired with him for much of the 2010-11 season.
However, I personally don't think Robidas will get dealt this year. Next year, quite possibly.
