He's an upgrade on all but PK and Markov at a very nice cap hit. Kaberle and Weber don't really count as NHL dmen anymore.

Robidas is a solid defensman, I would seriously go after him.

Robidas is 35, he's experienced. I'm sure he can be a mentor to help the younger Leaf defense. He's still got some gas left in the tank. Probably wouldn't cost alot either due to his age.

EDM'd make sense. Lacking on D (although their biggest problem seems to be scoring). EDM's got 2 2nd rounders this year and lot's of B level prospects. Reuniting the teammates Fistric and Robidas could work. I'd be happy with never seeing Potter, Whitney, or Peckham ever playing a shift for EDM ever again.

Robidas to OTT makes a lot of sense. They are still playing good despite a lot of injuries but would welcome a d-man to cover for Karlsson

We have oleksiak and nemeth who are more than capable of replacing him. My only fear would be having 4 rookies and a 2nd year player on our back end. Hopefully he gets moved tho.
