I'm just glad to see we're not wasting 50 pages of posts talking about Colton Orr again.
- johndewar

I can't believe all the Orr complaining and then he ends up scoring. Too perfect.

Orr would have had the GWG if not for the Flyers goal in garbage time.

- PLindbergh31

Orr scored that goal and the first thing I thought of was all of the Colton Orr hand-wringing that took place.

I also believe that game is one of the last Tom Sestitov sightings we've had in these parts.

That's my thinking. Maybe Couts finally buries one after a flurry of great chances over the past few games?
- NickTheKid87

Would be nice to see. Couturier is playing well, but right now he has the finish of a 30 year old can of Turtle wax.

Sestito got sent down to Adirondack, and got injured in his first game. I have no idea if the injury is serious or not.

4-1 with an EN goal. Goal scorers will be Talbot, Giroux, Kadri, Hartnell, Giroux in that order.

If I'm 100% right, what do I get?

- NickTheKid87

Thing is, Scivens will start, and he's a bit hot and cold. I was very disappointed in the fact they didn't test him with traffic when Reimer got hurt last game. Gotta go to the net like the second half of the Winterpeg game and I say we win.

He keeps going to the back hand. Does he not trust his shot or something?

The Flyers basically were sleep walking through the Toronto game up in ACC earlier this year. That's why I think they come out tough tonight.

Scrivens is far from a sure thing, true. I agree, we need to get traffic in front of him. He's played well this year but he's beatable for sure. Hartnell should help.

I know Talbot overachieved last season, but he needs to score a g-damn goal soon.

I think Couturier is trying to do a bit too much when he has the puck.

Excuse me if this starts a riot here among fans but has Bruno really been that much better then Foster? I get why Bruno plays ahead of Foster and Bruno has been alright but he's had some pretty rough games too.

Yeah he needs to simplify his game offensively. Just use the quick release.

The consensus is Foster has been terrible. I don't see it that way. If you want to see terrible look at Lilja's game against the Rags. He was so bad, he will never play another game for the Flyers again.

Bruno....he's.....he's not good. I get why Isles fans hate him.

That said, he's OK as a 6th/7th guy.

Lilja is a pylon at this point.

maybe..

Against Winnipeg he made that sick move going to the net then tried to pass it to a covered Rinaldo instead of taking the shot.

Its my feeling that maybe his role needs to be scaled back to last years levels for a while. IE defensive shutdown guy, don't worry too much about the offense....(which lately seems to be the case)

He is young, he will come out of it.

I'm going to disagree here.

He didn't really hit him all that hard. The damage was done when Brashear's head hit the ice - because he was wearing a Jofa bucket with no protection, and it wasn't even on his head properly.

Don Cherry swears McSorley was just trying to whack him on the arm, and it missed.

- Atomic Wedgie

I guess you think tucker and cooke aren't dirty either. Cherry is an effin clown.

I'm guessing it's because he's good with the kids down in Adirondack?

Bill, I completely defer to your expertise when it comes to scouting reports on current Stars.

Of the two, I was just thinking that Daley would be cheaper to acquire (length of contract, maybe buyer's remorse on the cap hit), and he might be more of a transition-game booster -- a destitute man's Carle.

I don't think there's any question that Robidas brings more in terms of pure value to the lineup.

If it were up to me, though, I'd eschew vets completely in favor of sniffing out the next Coburn-esque steal.

Yeah it's not like the skills aren't there. He's made some nice moves and we know he has the shot. It's just about putting the physical and mental parts together for him, IMO.

I agree with "he is young and will come out of it". He's 20. I have t-shirts older than that. He'll figure it out.

That's exaclty what I was thinking of Hartnell driving everyone (suck it Phaneuf!) in front of the TO net bonkers. This will help. Scrivens hasn't been horrible but up and down. He hasn't seemed like a game stealer IMO.

I'm guessing that Holmgren would like a mulligan.
