Blues GM Doug Armstrong will be taking in his second straight Flyers game, and his third of the year. He was in Toronto for the Flyers game at the ACC. |

Yeah, tsn has him in an interview that it was nice to go somewhere he was wanted. How about play harder for us and you would still be here..
Scrivens just said that one of his best friend's is a Flyers fan and she is rooting for him to lose tonight.. hahaha |

I cant tell you how many times he looked like he was putting the least amount of effort in at practice. Even if he ends up being the better player than Luke Schenn I for one am glad I won't have to witness that anymore. |

I wanted to like him but he just didn't seem to want to go all out here except for the 2011 playoffs maybe.
It's been discussed ad nauseum but I can't express how mad I still am that we didn't end up with Kane after the season from hell. That guy has insane hands and imagine him and Roux on the same team? |

So now tsn is reporting that the Hawks streak is actually 24 in a row because of last year. |

Honestly to me I dont give a (frank) about JVR. He is gone.
If he had played more consistently in Philly and played better defensively he would still be here. |

If they do end up winning I will give them credit.
To do it with Niemi and Crawford... People sometimes say the Flyers play too aggressive. The Hawks have mastered that game. They come after you wave after wave BUT still back-check like crazy.
Doesn't hurt having Keith and Seabrook also. |

Is it me or when a GM is watching a game of another team multiple times, something potentially significant is brewing, not the standard 4th line winger for a bag of pucks. Pietrangelo and Shattenkirk both RFAs at the end of the season, just saying. |

Peter Chiarelli of the Bruins was at two recent Flyers games and met with Paul Holmgren during the second intermission of one of them. Doesn't mean they were talking trade or that one is imminent.
Armstrong could also be looking at the Leafs, as the first Flyers game he was at was against the Leafs. |

I wouldn't necessarily say something is imminent. However, I do think a GM can do some due dilegence on his own by observing games in person on an idea he may be weighing about pursuing to potentially help his team in the future. |
