I can't stand people talking about the lack of noise at FNC...If this team would provide something worth cheering for, the fans will cheer.
There is relatively little to get excited about on this team. Aside from Vanek and Miller, who really is doing anything worth cheering for? Perhaps I can throw in Kaleta and Ott since they are at least trying to stir things up.
We have a rookie that fans were excited about sitting on the bench, while guys like Hecht and Stafford cash checks.
Our future star Myers has turned into a weak turnover machine.
Our captain is the one of the quietest guys on the team.
I mean really, what do you expect from fans in the arena? - GoinFiveHole
Again, this has been a problem going long before this year. I have been to quite a few arenas other than Buffalo. There are worse teams that don't have this kind of problem. The product does help, but even in 2010, the year they won the division, it was a problem. The product on the ice is a factor, but it's not anywhere near the sole problem.

pass. let the young players play on a good team. the obsession with calling up every young player to the sabres since we suck is the opposite of what i want to see. |

Drunkeness. Theres a lot of people at the games just getting hammered because theres nothing else to look foward to. The game is a non factor. Its like the Ralph.

no point in bringing him up this season.. let him mature on a team that he can play high minutes and has a positive attitude. keep all the good players down there till a real change in made up in Buffalo.. so probably not till the summer |

The Bills have been an absolute embarrassment for over a decade. You still hear opposing players say the crowd can make Ralph Wilson Stadium a difficult place to play relative to other NFL stadiums. At the First Niagara Center, it would probably be more beneficial if they played in front of an empty stadium. |

Drunkeness is a symptom of many things, none of them include the way the Sabres or Bills play. |

I think it all started after the President Trophy year. When they did not win the cup that year, I feel as if it deflated the arena and fans. |

If you have nothing else to look forward to , besides the bills and Sabres playing well, you would probably be drunk no matter what the score of them game. When the Bills were winning those AFC title games, there were more drunk people then now. The main difference being, the drunks were happy, not angry. I perfer to stay away from drunk people, but if I had to choose, I would pick the happy celebrating drunks. |

That's what happens when you go from having the most exciting team in the NHL in 05-06 and 06-07 to this. They are not fun to watch anymore. Watch Chicago play, with their speed and the way they play it's exciting to watch. The Sabres are the opposite, slow and not very fun. I have been to many games, the crowd was fine until last year IMO |

The Arena is not the issue. The team sucks. If they go on a 5 or 6 game win streak that place will be rockin again. |

You have to REALLY suck for an extended period in order to have the opportunity to draft the talent they did. Same with Pittsburgh.....just sayin' |

I would hope so, but even the playoff games against Boston and Philadelphia were not like the way I have seen that arena before. |

Having gone to other arenas over the past 5 years, it hasn't been "fine" for a while. |

Buffalo fans are just Burnt out of the same god damned thing every year.. its like groundhogs day.. but real.
Both Bills and Sabres fans live by the motto "you dont run from, where you come from". the teams suck but the fans have so much passion..
If either team put out a winning team Buffalo would be like no other place in sports.. |

Yes, happy drunks behave--somewhat. Winning fixes everything. And this team just doesn't win. |
