Kovalchuk doesn't play for the Habs. Jeez, you're clueless.
Markov is better than both Gionta and Pleks. - hscesq
He was a 1 trick pony in shootouts...doesn't make him more dangerous than Plek on breakaways. |

He's not our best option but he's talented and dangerous on breakaways. Kovalchuk has a brutal shootout percentage as well. - God_then_kovy

Terrible, but it's more mental than lack of skill like in Gio's part. I would send out Galchenyuk, Desharnais and Eller...and then Plek if need be. Gio should never shoot. - God_then_kovy
Plek shouldn't even be a thought!!!
I would send Emelin before I think of sending Plek.

They are now the league dispensers of justice. They will make Pacs pay for his hit from behind. |

i'm not laughing at you. i'm crying on the inside for you.
in all seriousness i applaud your taking precautions. i have noticed a big difference in Canadian and American beer leaguers. the Canadian guys to tend to wear full gear and full face protection, even neck guards. the Americans, almost as a rule, never wear shoulder pads and are more likely to not wear face protection at all or wear a visor. |

Fair enough...my point was to never send out Gionta. Ever. Plek's shootout numbers don't do him favours but he remains a skill player. - God_then_kovy
No doubt Pleks is a skill player. It's a mystery why he can't score in shootouts to be certain. |

I wore a visor until I took a slap shot on the mouth...
and I strapped the shoulder pads back on after my friend got 2 broken ribs from a blocked shot in front of the net...
Quite frankly playing in beer leagues is not worth that level of sacrifice...
