Please don't Joe! It was only a matter of time until this nonsense started. - MJL
I wanna hear players actually say it before I buy into it. Otherwise this is a smear campaign imo. |

which teams in your view had a very good offseason? - Crimsoninja

You mean a forward coming back deep for a high percentage short pass on a center ice breakout? Blasphemous? LA rode to the Cup on that breakout. - MJL
The Flyers typically have 1-2 forwards beyond the red line looking for the home run pass. Not going to work with the defenseman they have. |

Episode III was good. Could've made that as a stand alone, I think and a little better plot development in that particular one but overall a 4 out 5 stars. - JoeRussomanno
I agree.
Also, my kid loves those Clone Wars cartoons. They're not bad, really.
JarJar Binks and too much yammering about politics and blockades killed a lot of the credibility the prequels could have had right out of the gate. |

What all was said? - Flyers_V88
i haven't heard anything on the actual station, just someone I know texted me and said that apparently according to un-named players he's negative in the locker room. Until I hear or see an actual soundbyte from a player saying this it's a smear attempt imo. |

Do you think the Flyers can play better defensively then they have? And do you think that if they would, that will make the Goaltender's job easier? - MJL
To be honest with the flyer dfense personel I don't think overall they have played too bad. At times in games it's been brutal yes but most teams except for the few elite have the same problem. I think a true puck moving dman solves alot of those problems. I really like scheen grossmann Mez( when healthy) and coburn when used properly. Nice young set. Hits well and recent 1st pass. If we had puck mover teams wouldn't be so fast to dump puck In and forcheck so hard for fear of puck going other way. I also tend to look at the core forwards are so young it hurts on the d side of the game helping back check and so on... I have faith they will get better with time. |

good talk - Crimsoninja
my take on the flyers and their off season is well archived. not in the mood to blow up the board. wanted to keep JVR and carle and go from there... |

Too far up the ice, you mean?
He is one of a few players they have that can reliably transition the puck out of their zone to offense, IMO.
Without a true transition defenseman on each pair, Voracek is a key guy for them in this regard. |

Thanks for that man. Yeah, I tend to agree with you more. From what I've seen and read, Bryz has been a good teammate this year, and appears to have really bought into the team game and team mentality. I'm not in Philly and can't stream the station on TuneIn radio app as I'm at work right now, but no offense guys in the Philly area, but the Fanatic SUCKS BAD compared to our sports talk radio up here in Canada on TSN and Sportsnet. I find these guys don't even really know hockey and care about it to give it serious analysis and breakdown the bullpoop. |

I think Toronto has pretty good talent with their top six forwards.
And they are playing without Lupul.
But I agree with your point. - Marc D
People will call me crazy but right now I miss Frattin more than I miss Lupul.
I think Lupul last season performed so well for the same reason JVR is doing so well right now -- Kessel.
Frattin though has been a huge spark for the leafs when he's played this year. His ability to chip the puck off the boards and jump past a defender is great, and he'll put his head down and take the puck straight to the net. The fact that him and Kadri have unreal chemistry together doesn't hurt either. When both Lupul and Frattin the Toronto top 9 should be:
JVR - Bozak - Kessel
Lupul - Kadri - Frattin
MacArthur - Grabovski - Kulemin
I think that's pretty decent with three lines who can score on any given night. |

Haha, yeah. I mean whenever I catch them, they spend minimal time on the Flyers, and it's never in a serious regard. I've heard some good stuff, but not much. |
