What's the big deal? If it was a second round pick I wouldn't like it. A 4th rounder is basically a lottery ticket. |

That's not even funny. Were going backwards right now with these additions. - stveshdy
Not necessarily. If they're sellers at the TDL, Gagne's just another chip to move for picks. This is a really inconsequential move. Way too much being made out of it. |

I gotta say, and most may not agree, it drives me nuts seeing Fedotenko AND Knuble dress. the lack of speed just makes me gringe.
I wouldn't mind seeing Gagne play with Couturier.
Come trade deadline, lets say the Flyers are out of it....what veterans have any value.....even if we are talking about a 7th round pick. anything - nastyflyergirl
Did Gagne have any chemistry with Briere? |

A good portion of yesterday's blog was posters mentioning bringing Gagne back, and boom he's back the next day. Is this just a coincidence? - PLindbergh31

THE KGB LINE IS BACK!!!!! Its like the alumni game but for real hahaha, seriously tho, they would be foolish not to try that line again, at one time that was the highest scoring line in hockey |

Knuble and Fedetenko haven't been very good. Knuble was scooped up from Rochester playing for the Wings minor league team. If Talbot and Briere would start producing that would help.
If Read wasn't injured, I doubt the Flyers bring Gagne back. |

Not sure why we are trading picks when this team is going nowhere. - stveshdy
The flyers once again go back to the future.
I don't understand this trade. Why throw away a 4th round pick on a guy who is a shell of himself.
Steve, I agree with you, I see this trade as a waste of a pick. I would rather harry z play or another kid over this has been. |

Flyers to resign Mark Howe and Tim Kerr...e4
All kidding aside, getting Gagne back for a conditional 4th is a low risk deal that may help. If he can get healthy, Gags can still play. If not, you gave up nothing and his contracts up after the season.
I almost wonder if they are hinting to Briere that he will be bought out after the season, so would he give them a few teams he would accept a trade to. The Gagne move makes more sense if the idea is for him to get healthy, and then fill Briere's spot. |

Yes, I do. He is a responsible player that can still skate. Have you seen him play recently? Who knows if he can still score? All I'm saying is that it's exciting to have him back. |

I honestly hope we dont get buff, we dont need a d man to stand in front of the net and create more odd man rushes for us. Buff works in the jets system because they work him into the offense, I just dont see that happeneing. There are 1-2 other jets d men that I would rather have over buff. |

I guess I can't see really how it hurts them. It's a depth move.
And if you want to get upset, get upset because they are so bereft of talent, they don't have anyone ready at Adirondack to step up yet. |
