Eskin seems to have a pretty good Flyers source.

I don't think he should be dismissed just because he's a jerk.

Isn't that what Fedotenko or Knuble is for? Has Gagne even played this season?

That is my expectation. I expect Gagne to play exactly the same way he did in the past. I think it's a lock. More specifically, he will play just as well for the Flyers as he did for the Kings last week.

Gagne has played 11 games this Season. Gagne brings some more skill and speed to the lineup then those 2 do.

I'm looking for that 47 goal scorer the year he played with Foppa!

Now you're getting the idea....

Truthfully, my biggest fear about Gagne is that he's been dead for a while now, is actually a vampire, and thus will not be able to play in day games.

That isn't saying much. Hatcher circa 2008 might be faster than Knuble.

He could cost a 3rd if this team slides into the playoffs. This team is not a serious contender IMO. Not feeling this move.

I think it's a pretty safe bet that they aren't done. Doesn't Gagne put them at 50 contracts? Homer usually likes to have a free slot there.
- tangent_man

yeah, Eskin's not exactly going out on the limb there.

the only part of this I don't like is that Gagne won't be replacing guys who are struggling to contribute, like Feds or Knuble, but he'll likely replace McGinn.

So are Tampa and LA.

I hear you can still find milk cartons with his picture on them in the Tampa/St. Pete area.

Like I said before. You have a legitimate point in my opinion about giving up draft picks for older players. But now that the deal is done. Not much choice but to see what he's got. He's still only 32.

They don't need any more forwards. Maybe Desjardins has something left in the tank.

Not a bad thing for McGinn to go back to the Phantoms and work on his game and get more minutes. If that is indeed what they do. He'll be back at some point.

Love how the flyers like to think outside of the box

Seriously people....it's 2013. We are trotting out fedotenko, knuble, and gagne. In 2018 we'll be deploying umberger, p sharp, and upshall, in part, Bc of short sighted moves like this

Will see what happens. Homer has made some moves that I have to question but in the end I'm a Flyers fan so I will cheer them on.

I hope Gagne tears it up but I am skeptical about this move.
