Not a bad thing for McGinn to go back to the Phantoms and work on his game and get more minutes. If that is indeed what they do. He'll be back at some point.

There's 4 or 5 vets that have contributed less to this team than McGinn. It's one of those guys that Gagne should be replacing, not a young kid with energy and some promise.

There's a lot of factors involved. And really what's best for McGinn is the most important for me. Has a ton of heart and determination. But needs to work on his overall game. And we don't even know if he is going to be sent down or not yet.

Yes and no. Flyers retroactively placed Meszaros on LTI to add Gagne. They still have access to Pronger's LTI cap space if needed. A concern now is a bonus overage for next year.
