Move only makes sense if Briere is on the way out. And frankly it's something decent to sell the fans on that are gonna blow a gasket when we "give away mr.playoffs"

Not a bad thing for McGinn to go back to the Phantoms and work on his game and get more minutes. If that is indeed what they do. He'll be back at some point.

Yes and no. Flyers retroactively placed Meszaros on LTI to add Gagne. They still have access to Pronger's LTI cap space if needed. A concern now is a bonus overage for next year.
