Just heard about Gagne.
Move only makes sense if Briere is on the way out. And frankly it's something decent to sell the fans on that are gonna blow a gasket when we "give away mr.playoffs" |

Briere for a 4th - vejim
If Gagne can fetch a 4th possible a 3rd the Flyers should get some a nice pick for Briere. |

how does he manage to get one of those 3 prime spots at the top of HB? does he pay Ek?

Not a bad thing for McGinn to go back to the Phantoms and work on his game and get more minutes. If that is indeed what they do. He'll be back at some point. - MJL
Gagne is indeed replacing McGinn. Mike Brown crushed McGinn's orbital bone last night. He's out at least two weeks. |

Yes and no. Flyers retroactively placed Meszaros on LTI to add Gagne. They still have access to Pronger's LTI cap space if needed. A concern now is a bonus overage for next year. - MJL
hope he can add something |

yeah, I figured it was something like that.
I knew it certainly wasn't based on traffic and/or strong content ... in which case Bill's blobs would be up there, not Tim's. |

So either Z is back in or Gags is the replacement right? Wasn't worth a 3rd or 4th to replace McGinn for a couple of weeks. |

They didn't trade for Gagne to make him a healthy scratch. He's going to play. Harry Z will probably be sent back to the Phantoms. |

I will be annoyed if a second round pick is traded for an older rental player. |
