I appreciate your pre-emptive optimism but for me this only makes sense if Holmgren flips Gagne for a 2nd at the deadline. - phillydentist
I agree. |

Dean Lombardi should be our GM. We had our chance. - phillydentist
Before last Season, there were a bunch of LA fans calling for Lombardi's head.

Fact. He was often accused of not being willing to do what it took to get impact players, of being patient to a fault.
I suppose he could share a few words n the value of his patience. |

I didn't even know people followed hockey in LA. |

Well, unfortunately we know at least Mr. Matthew Barry follows them. Also, former Star Trek actor Wil Wheaton is an outspoken fan. He's still kind of annoying. |

I'm negative when the situation warrants. Trading a 3rd or 4th round pick isn't a killer. I don't like moving first or second round picks for rentals. - PLindbergh31
If I knew losing Matt Carle would do this to you, I'd have camped outside homer's house my damn self! |

They don't its just for flyer fans that are ashamed and call radio stations pretending to be players under guise of anonymity to trash other players. |

Why was gagne expendable? Because a couple of late round draft picks, 4th and 7th rounders. Jordan Nolan and Dwight king. Have panned out to fill bottom 6 roles for them. |

Different players and different roles. Nolan is averaging 8 minutes a game. Gagne is his 11 games with LA averaged 13:45 a game, and also played on the PP.

I understand that. I personally wouldn't have made the deal. But I'm going to keep and open mind and see what Gagne has.
