Mean 2nd line but the 3rd is toast.

I'm more concerned with getting Couturier going than putting a rusty Gagne on a line with Giroux or Schenn

Might as well give him some familiar linemates to start the out the door tour

My mouth is quite useful to sing George thorogood covers for mad dog money. A full 8 hours usually yields enough coin for a bottle and a half. Problem with the half a bottle is I gotta buy it second hand

Ugh I'm starting to feel bad for disliking him now... It's like when your dog dies and you feel guilty for all the times you yelled at him for barking at the mailman.

Hell, I still like the little bastard. But I'm a realist. He doesn't fit any longer

He can be an infuriating player. But I never doubted his desire to win-still don't. Id jettison him, but I will miss him

He definitely wants to win... It's weird with him for me... I know he's a good player but it annoys me how ineffective he is defensively oh well

Gagne is 12. Harry Z is trying his numerical magic to shore up the defense next.... He'll be wearing 37

Then I'd go with those lines too. Nice to see that Gags is getting the 12 back.

Will be interesting to see if Harry Z breaks his arm in some sort of freak accident after touching the 37 jersey.

Have we traded Gagne for Byfuglien yet?

Byfuglien used his NTC to veto the deal because he'd already missed this year's Wing Bowl.

Splitting up 19-28-93 and 48-10-17 would be a mistake IMO. G and Jake are gelling and it's only a matter of time before Hartsy gets back in the action. That 2nd line was great in the Pens series last year and they've faired pretty well when they've been together this year. Look for Gags to play with Couts. I honestly think this trade was made in hopes that Couts will to start to produce more offensively.

Have we stopped with the "Have we _____fill in absurd statement that is supposed to be funny but never is here____" lines yet?

Because they're never funny....

That's why I'd move Couturier to the 10-17 line. But a line of 12-14-9 isn't a bad idea, with keeping Briere with Schenn and Simmonds.
