Yeah but that's totally different. We were god awful and we got Scottie Upshall, Ryan Parent and a 1st in return, not a top pairing, 24 year old defenseman.

I agree.. If he does indeed get moved.. its gonna be a bigger deal..

maybe a Briere, Voracek, Gusty + for Shattenkirk and Stewart or something along those lines.. Dont see a 1 for 1 deal being realistic.

That was for 2 months of Forsberg. St Louis has Briere for 3 potential playoff runs and his salary is very friendly after this season. No doubt it's a steal for the Flyers but it's more than worth it if they win the Cup in the next 3 playoff runs.

If Paulmgren had said that than the trade would have already been confirmed and Shattenkirk would be a Flyer.

Come to think of it.. i have bought four jerseys in my life.. the three I mentioned were mine, and one for my brother in law... A Pronger winter classic with the "C"..

Kevin Shattenkirk is far more valuable to the Blues than Danny Briere would be.

So what you're saying is there is no way to reverse psychology your jinx. Never mind getting that Shelley jersey now. With your luck he'll miraculously heal, get inserted into the lineup, and cut into most of Voracek's minutes.
