Here's my take on Ovechkin: When he was at his best, he played a style that no human being could sustain. He played such an over-the-top hitting style, skating almost out of control and shooting from a wider array of angles. When he started to be more of a perimeter, stationary player he lost a lot of what had made him such as a special player. But if he kept playing the other way, he'd have gone the way of Eric Lindros in terms of his body betraying him prematurely. - bmeltzer
Reasonable Bill but man he still can play smarter that's for sure. He looks uninterested tonight.
