Recovering from the "Parents v. Kids" game between two Squirt teams (one of them being M4) and their dads (one of them being me). It was awesome.

Nothing like a celebration of hockey between fellow dads (and 1 mom) and our kids.

Adrenaline. I was watching the game upstairs, put away the gear for M4 and me and got pooped. I'm about to head back up now that I've carried two sets of gear down here and laid them out.

I kept taking off my helmet during the game and asking the other dads if my hair looked messed up.

Thanks, guys. I'm feeling better after spending much of the day sleeping. This morning's blogs were a struggle and I had several sloppy mistakes in the gameday blog (game start time, NBCSN rather than CSN Philly, Caps record). But at least it got done.

Yeah, 5:30 - 6:30. Got home around 7:30 after picking up dinner, so I watched the 1st & 2nd on DVR to catch up.

The best part was, down 2 goals, we pulled the goalie. Except we sent all 13 dads over the bench for the "extra man." Would've worked, too, if it weren't for those meddling kids - all 25 of them - countering by coming onto the ice, too. It was bedlam and hilarious. The Spirit of Hespeler is alive and well in Voorhees.
