Yes, but no one is in here calling others "Advanced." Except Jsaq with regard to Tman's age. |

They got swept, but made the playoffs. Don Waddell kept his job until sane people bought the team and moved it to Winnipeg - Jsaquella
I honestly believe that Seattle or Portland would be a great spot to relocate a team...Do you see how crazy people from Seattle go for the Sounders...if they got a hockey team it would be an instant success IMO |

nope. never. and then he went back to russia. (frank)ing assclown.
i've got no beef with grabovski. just sucks something so dumb ends a HOFer's career. wear a (frank)ing visor, ya' dope. no guarantee, but a better chance of being protected. - hammarby31
Yeah I agree on Grabo, but damn, thinking about the high calibre Flyers players that have ended their career with freak/weird/intentional injuries over the last 15 years man: Lindros (had a decent year or two in NYR but was never the E-train again), Primeau, Foppa, and now Pronger. Jesus. In every case, those guys were THE GUY on the team when they went down. That is some hard luck. |

And Zhitnik is no Briere who is a proven playoff beast... with 3 potential playoff runs and not just a 2 month rental. - phillydentist
You were asked to name a comparable trade to the one you think is a possibility. Coburn for Zhitnik is not comparable. There's another issue that I'm curious about. You criticized the Gagne deal because the Flyers were taking a Cap hit off of LA's hands. So you think that the Flyers should have gotten him cheaper. Never mind that you didn't even take inot consideration that LA didn't need the Cap space. As they have plenty available even before moving Gagne. But why doesn't that same logic apply to the Flyers dealing Briere? Isn't a team taking the Cap hit off of the Flyers hands? So how can you expect that good of a return? Not to mention that the Flyers are actually a team that can use the Cap space. And not to mention that Gagne is on an expiring contract. And Briere is not. The two opinions don't jive with one another. |

I agree. Seattle & Houston should have gotten teams instead of Atlnata and say, Phoenix |

But like Nashville, St. Louis has limited funds. They'd at least have to think twice before agreeing to match a deal heavily loaded with upfront bonus money. - bradleyc4
BUt if the Flyers do this they hurt themselves cap wise. At least at the amount they would have to do to get him.

That's very sad. We have a game every weekend. No kidding. World building is one of my favorite things. Kicking someone in the face even in my imagination is my second.

Never too late to chime in - unless it's with hockey news. Give it a shot. Worst that can happen is you turn out to be Bruno Kirby's character from Good Morning Vietnam. |
