I don't like the whole realignment. They should just swap the Peg with one of Detroit, Columbus, or Nashville and be done with it. Actually they may only have to pick between Detroit and Columbus, as I am not sure Nashville has griped about wanting to join the east. So either someone needs to grow a pair and say "FU Columbus, Detroit has been around longer and they're going east" or they just flip a damn coin. Keep the same playoff structure...except maybe seed by points, regardless of division winner status. Division winners automatically get in, but once in, all are seeded based on points. Seems logical to me...so clearly the NHL wouldn't go that route.
