I cant believe you guys forgot about that 2006-2007 season. Remember he had 2 points in that first game... phheww.. he was on pace for 164 points that season.

Also just found out that Dodge named an engine after him. All these years and I never put two and two together... Dodge Hemsky.

We drafted Derek Mathers around the same spot Lundqvist was taken so we could probably move him and a pick for Hank.

My favorite Cloutier story from the lockout. He wrote a blog during the time when the players and Owners meeting were happening to try and get a deal done. When Crosby and other players met with Owners from the Pens, Calgary etc. He wrote that Donald Fehr was keeping players who had sided against Fehr, out of the process of the meetings. And not allowing them to participate. And one of the players he named that was being kept out, was Martin St. Louis. Want to guess who one of the players was, that was at the players/owners meetings? It was classic.

Changed my mind this morning while writing today's blog. I'll probably hold off now on a Briere blog until the six day break.

By then, we should have a much clearer picture on whether the Flyers will be sellers or buyers at the deadline.
