That's right! Hemsky and Gagner both had a good game! If you have one good game, you're not garbage, right JaMarcus Russell?

So I'm probably late with this but do offer sheets ever work? It seems like they are only tools to force teams to crap or get off the pot when having issues with a player contract negotiation.

The Oilers got Penner on an OS. I think he might be the biggest name.

Outside of Dustin Penner and Chris Gratton, no. But they do get players signed, which is why I wonder why teams hate them.

I mean if you have a RFA out there and somebody signs him to an offer sheet that you think is too high, walk the hell away

I think they made the trade for McGrattan because they were at 50 contracts.

Calgary dodged a bullet (from a gun they shot at themselves). I'd rather keep that 1st rounder because he could be top 10. O'Reilly's good but I think they could get someone better. Although it is Feaster we're talking about...

Yeah, after Logjammin' it was hard to find quality roles for Karl Hungus. This is from the futuristic Das Butt

They need someone now, not 2 years down the road. For a 1st it is well worth it.

The only thing Calgary needs right now is a time machine to go back a handful of seasons to when they should've started a rebuild. Not sure you can offer sheet one of those, though.

The Weber offer sheet wasn't matched, it's a conspiracy. If you look at Weber's agent, she looks STRIKINGLY familiar to a lawyer from the Gabby Giffords shooting AND a mom at Sandy Hook.

I guess. Can't see Calgary being a contender even if they add O'Reilly though.

I thought we had the rights to the time machine considering we are bringing back so many old players...
