I know you guys are probably not too happy with the suspension but I think it was the right decision. I won't comment on what alfie did, I'll leave it up to the league for discipline. I have no problem with big hits, in fact I love them, but why would HZ leave his feet like that? He charged from the bench, took a run at a player and then left his feet. Sadly, if he didn't leave his feet, he still would have creamed Lundin and it'd be a clean hard legal hit. - Multiple Scorgasms
I have zero issue with the Zolnierczyk suspension.
I do dislike the inconsistency of the NHL, where players like James Neal can lay the same hit and get one game, or where Alfredsson can cross check a dude in the head twice and get nothing in the very same game where Zolnierczyk got dinged for 4.
It's the same system where Brayden Schenn got a game for a hit one week, and then the very next week, three similar hits drew nothing from the league.

Speaking for myself, I am super satisfied with the discipline handed down to Harry Z. I've wanted him out of the line up since the Penguins game. He has made at least three irresponsible plays in the last week and a half. He's a fourth line energy guy who is you responsible with this speed and costing is team. I am glad our Coach is being forced to try someone else. I really don't see Harry Z getting back into the line up beyond ease for games.

In my opinion Harry Z has had a free pass since the Pittsburgh Penguin game. This was his third strike

He's had his undisciplined moments, for sure. But he's also been part of a pretty effective 4th line.
That said, as a guy who plays between 7-10 minutes a night, the first job has to be to avoid doing something unnecessary or stupid that hurts the team.
He had a boarding penalty against the Pens, and the hit against the Senators. The hit in the Capitals game was a legal hit, so not sure how that's a strike against him. It's unfortunate he hasn't managed to learn the control Rinaldo has found.

It's a strike because getting noticed...clean or not. You can make an argument for all the hits, but players on the other side of these hits are getting hurt

If there's a perfectly clean and legal hit and somebody on the other side gets hurt, I fail to see how it's a bad thing. A hit that is outside the rules and dirty, like the hit on Lundin, absolutely is a bad thing.
But a 4th liner, knocking a guy on his ass cleanly? If you have an issue with that I have to ask why?

Three hits in less then two weeks. All three someone has gotten hurt. One of three were clean. End result, the league has to start watching this guy due to recklessness. Personally, I thought the hit in Pittsburgh was an accident but I also thought it was irresponsible. Maybe the hit against Washington was an accident, but who's to say it wasn't revenge for Simmonds? Eye for an eye? My point is the suspension had to be handed down

What is the difference between his hit yesterday and what Neal did?

The hit in Pitts happens every single game, with no call, yet Harry manages to get called on it. He gave him the extra shove. He deserved the call, but that gets let go probably 75% of the time...again it speaks to consistency with discipline in the NHL.
