How may games has he played this Season. He's been hurt. Giroux and Hartnell have chemistry. Makes zero sense to take Hartnell off of the 1st PP unit. - MJL
Not this year. Hartnell's obviously washed up. Trade him for Shattenkirk |

Hartnell, Cote's wife, free cheesesteaks for the year (choice between Jim's, Pat's, or Geno's), a free pass for everything inside the Reading Terminal Market, and a really, really nice pen with an engravment of choice for Pietrangelo.

Good evening fellow knuckledraggers.
Re: Harry the Z, fitting suspension, the kid has to play smarter than that and he was living on the edge all week, finally caught up to him.
For whatever I don't remember him playing like this last year. I thought he looked much smarter and on the ball last year and just checking...37 games last year, 35 PIM. This year 6 games 36 PIM (though I don't know if that's corrected for his negated kneeing penalty). Could be he's pushing too hard because getting up with the big club is harder this year than last or there's more competition but something is definitely different.
He'll either figure it out or not but I'm not sure he'll get another shot at it this year. |

Just don't waive him and have him get picked up by a divisional rival. Last thing I want is for him to injure our players... |

Those 16 PP goals last Season were a fluke. |

True enough.
The best/most dangerous players we play are former Flyers. |

amazing yet completely predictable that Z gets 4, while Alfie gets nothing for a double xcheck to the head. have no problem with Z suspension, but think it's at least 1 game too many. zero consistency from the league AS USUAL. just brutal. isn't there some kind of new appeal process in place? can you appeal a non-suspension? |

They always seem to become better after they leave Philly... Sharp, Seidenberg, Versteeg,... |

Shanahan was a star player. He will be lenient on star players. Making examples of scrubs and being inconsistent is not a good way to enforce the rules. |

Says you. How is he different from Tom Sestito? Same age and same number of seasons played on the Flyers. |

Alfie was just being a good captain there according to Don Cherry |

Consistency remains a huge issue for the NHL in doling out justice.
I have no issue with the length of Zolnierczyk's suspension. I will have an issue if the next guy that laves his feet and lands a head shot gets off with a fine or one game. |

Zolnierczyk is on his entry level contract, Sestito is not. Under the new CBA that is the criteria. |

Colin Campbell was a plugger. They will be lenient on star players because the owners sell a big name player to the fans.
You'll get more people to see Evgeni Malkin and James Neal than you will for Dustin Jeffrey and Brandon Sutter |

That's right, says me. I can make that determination because I know the Waiver rules.
He can play 17 more NHL games, or if he goes back down, until next Season until his Waiver exemption runs out. |

That doesn't matter. There are games played criteria that determine whether or not a player is waiver exempt or not. Here's a good link to the rules:
http://www.capgeek.com/fa...w-do-regular-waivers-work
In the case of Zlonierczyk, he is less than 2 years from signing his original NHL contract and has played fewer than 60 NHL games.
