i know. i thought columbus of all teams was going to do it the other night. had the hawks on 2nd game of back to back and were taking it to them. when mason let in a weak backhand shot from the corner with no screen i knew chicago would come back to win that game. all signs then pointed to this game against rival. delay of game call in waining minutes saves them.

I think that's the first time I've been described as 'respectful'. Not sure why it's disappointing.

Also, 87 was totally my number by birthright, even if it was his birthright two months prior. I will take this to the hockeybuzz supreme court if I must.

Knuble is still a capable NHL player. My issue is the logic behind using a 40 year old player on the PP and PK and relying on him as heavily as Laviolette was.

Just the sheer amount he played overall. Outside of his last two games, he'd played under 13 minutes three times out of 15 games.

I expected a 7-10 minute a night role, Laviolette was playing him 13-15 minutes a night.
