The leafs are sitting in 6th place in the east and at this point(baring a massive failure) there no way Nonis makes any drastic changes to this team...

Maybe if lucky Nonis could find a taker for Liles but at this point dumping someone like Steckel about all he's gonna do going forward..

Trading someone like Mac is a big move from a team that been winning...+ if u want a center it's gonna take a major move that involves a 1st round pick/s and guys like Gardiner/Reilly etc.. ..

I'm sure Nonis will try to fill the #1 center but thats not likely to happen until this summer...

For the first while, I can see Komarov sliding down to the 4th line, and Orr/McClaren take turns in the press box. Especially since it will take time for Lupul to return to form. Once Lupul gets back into game shape and is producing, then maybe I see one of the top 9 being moved.

Basically comes down to Steckel, Komarov, Macarthur. Komarov has value on the 4th, line which essentially renders Steckel useless.

JVR - Bozak - Kessel
Lupul - Kadri - Frattin
Komarov - Grabovski - Kulemin
Orr - McClement - McLaren

This is pretty much how I see the lineup, barring any major trade deadline deals. You can also swap JVR and Lupul, really, if need be.

There was never any doubt he wouldn't be on the Leafs next year.

Simple, its called a concussion. He got the call-up and was inserted, and it was clear he was a step behind. As for Reilly, I agree, he won't be rushed. But if he has a good camp, he might get a look to start next season. Fowler got a shot under Carlyle's watch too remember......

This is whole thing that Carlyle doesn't like PMD's is way overblown if not factually incorrect. JML isn't in the lineup not because while he's a supposed PMD, he just hasn't played well at all since he got his concussion.
