Trade liles and send holzer down.. Leafs would be more dangerous if that top line had someone getting them the puck. I think that why Kadri is doing so well, most of the time Naz is getting the puck himself.. He often gets it just inside his own blueline, unlike bozak that useless sack of poop.

Yea i agree.. But maybe send kostka down instead of holzer.. I like the princess toadstool but holzer is bigger and just as good. In the good ole days Domi was the toughguy, tucker was the agitator, and roberts and corson were tough as nails but also played a very solid two way game. I don't know how this current team relates to that but i think komarov plays a big role in their success this year

The Jersey game is a must. If we want to get in, this is one of those must games. Ottawa needs a good beating. I'm sick of their "we're the victim" mentality. Watching Paul MacLean, behind the bench today, his herd of idiots, were getting jobbed, every time there was a goal against, or a penalty. If it wasn't for Okposo's brain cramp, they wouldn't have gotten a loser point today. They live on those, so it's time to win against them, in regulation. It's time for an old fashioned beat down on these bastards! Boston will be a write off and the Penguins game needs to be turned into a slugfest. Get the first two in the bank and take our chances.

Part of the reason why Gardiner isn't playing is because Carlyle prefers to have left handed defenders on the left side and right handed defenders on the right. He's traditional like that. He pulled Phaneuf off the right side despite Phaneuf always playing on the right side.

As it stands, they have Phaneuf, Gunnarsson, Fraser and Liles as the four left handed defenders. Unless they make a trade, somebody gets hurt or two of those guys start sucking, odds are Gardiner is going to be with the Marlies for the rest of the year. Additionally, Gardiner only has a few games left on his waiver exemption so if they call him up for a few games, they won't be able to send him back down without exposing him to waivers.
