No you don't get it, Perry will not want to play here, free agents don't want to come here. It's bad enough that the media beats up on guys when they're struggling, but then they have to deal with the fans too. You don't think other guys see how we treat our best players? Of course they do, and when their agent presents an offer from the Leafs they're going to say "no (frank)ing way". Why don't Leafs fans notice this? When's the last time a free agent who matters signed here?

i have zero interest in a professional hockey player than can't take a bit of heightened pressure and criticism playing for my favorite team.
if kessel were to get booed, he would absolutely deserve it. and no, i don't want him traded.
