Any chance that it gets sold at wholesale price to other countries, who then sell them at discount prices? I have a full, 100% authentic (fight strap even) Shea Weber Preds 3rd jersey. Cost me $62, and was the shadiest online transaction ever (shipped from China via a wholesale site). I figured they bought a bunch when that jersey was retired, then flipped them back at a small profit. They had Flyers ones too, but only non-current Flyers players (Richards and Carter come to mind), as well as some team Canada jerseys. Most were around $35+$30 shipping for authentic jerseys, which are usually around $200.

You're probably right about unsold jerseys as they are expensive to produce. I was thinking more along the lines of the tshirts that are created for the "losing" team... |
