It's the case with any goalie, get traffic in his face and get him moving and you'll score goals.
Discipline will be important. - Jsaquella
I hope we can go Venger on Hank the Ranger & send him home pointless.

WOW a TRUE maverick of the craft. Thank you for your service. |

at least 3. 4-6 would really help (captain obvious). the fact that Devils are 0-4-1 since Brodeur got injured is also helping. a lot of games with teams around them have been falling their way lately. if they can get on a roll they should be able to get in. - hammarby31
Devils are struggling big time. I believe they are starting Kinkaid in goal tonight. They are play a Lightning team that is 3-11-1 in their last 15 games.
Carle has surely stabilized TB's back end. |

Well, in a season that has been a whirlwind of rapid-fire hockey - two (+) days is virtually an offseason. Rust is to be expected. - BoomGoesTheCoburn
They practiced yesterday and had off on Sunday (I don't count glad handing at the carnival).
One day, they're tired. The next, they have rust.
No more excuses for the slow starts. |

Regulation wins will be very helpful.
Tampa did us a solid last night, pissing away a game in hand. |

I agree. This game marks the half way point of the Flyers season (game 24 of 48). The rust should be gone. If they can't find their legs, it's because they just aren't a good enough group. |

Lindback has fallen off a cliff. Their defense isn't great, but he looks awful. |

Probably because his technique is awful. He's what 5 inches taller than Bishop? |

Only Brian Lee and Nate Thompson have a worse +-
With that said, Id still welcome him on the Flyers... but not at his hit. |

I was being completely facetious, btw. They've played one game in the last four days. Rest is not an issue. |

Same height.
Kid has had his confidence shot. He's lunging at pucks, rather than just letting the shots hit him. That's all Bishop's doing, really. He gets set and there's not much to shoot at. Lindback is moving and cheating and getting beat because he's nullifying his own best asset, being large. |

Of course you would take him over the likes of Gervais, and Foster. But his cap hit is silly. |

Tampa got lucky to not get blown out. Lindback was flailing around after taking over for Garon (who looked sharp). the Pens first goal was a case of Crosby out muscling Stamkos and getting the puck to Kunitz, TB's second goal was a fluke off of Pyatt's face...
Here's the best part, who was the defenseman Malkin made that nasty move on to tie the game? Yup, TB's loss was MATT CARLE'S FAULT. |

The Carnival obviously got them all sick since they dealt with so many plague bearers (children). So they are all under the weather. |

Brewer was picking up his jock after the play, too...it was an awful bit of work by both Lightning defenders. |
