Yes, the Flyers were offered Subban for JVR, but turned it down. And went for Luke Schenn instead.

While I agree JVR underachieved he was a much better prospect and had shown flashes of greatness. Luke was on the 3rd pairing and was healthy scratched a few times as well...Not exactly a fair deal IMO.

Hockey is different. Games that look like easy wins don't always work out. Run in to a hot goalie, second night of back to back... etc... Right now it looks like they will never lose.
