Someone here earlier today was telling me that other teams would have given Kimmo $7 million next season. If so, the Flyers should have let them.

You still have to be aware. Make sure it gets deep and don't lollygag to the damned bench, skate off hard and get off the ice fast.

The only thing pissing me off with Bryzgalov is he is slowly sliding back into inconsistency and making barely any big saves. He is paid to be much more than an average guy.

Have to play defense well to transition the puck. Have to create turnover and have a neutral zone presence and layers to their checking. Hasn't been there all year. Beat the Flyers forecheck deep in your end, and you've got clear entry in the Flyers end. Cut pucks and challenge the Flyers at the blueline, and you've got odd man rushes against. It was only a matter of time until this Coach tried to unleash the hounds. This team isn't good defensively because the Coach doesn't demand it. It's all go, go, go.
