Next two games are important. Need the points.
- stveshdy

My hope is that the Flyers win the next three (nigh laughable at this point of the season) and this "chat" will be a faded memory. Lose tomorrow night and the talk will worsen.

*sigh*

He was sent back down this morning. The coach obviously didn't play him, so why have him sit here on the cap?

I really hate this Blackhawks team. (frank) them in the ear.

Emery has stopped 3 breakaways.

- PLindbergh31

Shorthanded to tie it, it's making me sick. They are probably the best team in the league but any team being outscored in the 3rd for the season should have at least 1 god damn regulation loss.

Good-Lucky, Lucky-Good. But they piss me off.

Emery could of been our goalie if not for the injury. He might still be here dominating.

At what point does it stop. It's become as predictable as death and taxes.

I'm extremely open to this current Coach changing my mind. It would make me very happy. But it won't just be about wins and losses for me.

Is it fair to say this team is underachieving?

Just wait if they lose the next two.

It will be insanity, and not the kind I like.

I really dislike them. Combination of 2010, that cluster(frank) of a trade that I can't let go, and this (frank)ing streak.

I don't expect them to win every single night but its the lack of energy that drives me crazy. I can live with losing when you play hard but when your taking periods off its bullpoop.

He is a defensive minded coach, who preaches that first and foremost.

If he is brought in to steer the ship. We will see. I dont see any new guy having much hope in the middle of a short season that has games almost every night.

- flyer_nutter

Except that he isn't. You can say that again and again, and it won't change the man's record and what the teams he ran in the past have done.

Yes, he stressed defense in LA. Because when he took over they were in shambles defensively. Only 4 teams had allowed more goals the season before he took over than the Kings.

Even when he was in Florida, his second season, the Panthers were in the top 6 in goals scored.

So one coaching stop out of four has he stressed defense and you think he's Jacques Lemaire in his commitmen to shutdown hockey...that's simply wrong and all the evidence proves that.

Emery stops another odd man rush.

Sharp channels his inner-Flyer and appears to dislocate his shoulder.

Around 930 am the Flyers tweeted happy birthday Eric Wellwood. By 10 am, they tweeted that he was re-assigned to the AHL.

I think it is very fair to say that. It's not as if they are lacking talent. The pieces haven't fit, and the adjustments the coach has made to make them fit haven't worked, overall.

Hell if I am wrong about him so be it. We will see what happens in the next few weeks. They could go on a 10 game win streak.

The one good thing about this last lockout it is kind of numbed me to this season.

I was referring to the 1998 trade that sent Paul Coffey to Chicago.

The Blackhawks would just destroy the Flyers. They always have at least 3 men on the right side of the puck.

Do you think if the Hawks would still be on this streak if they had to play Eastern teams?

I have no faith in the current coach to do so. I have some faith in the GM, which is why I'm not calling for a change there, yet.

All that has to happen is a win tomorrow night, and everyone will be right back aboard the train. Including me.

I'll need more than a win....I will root for him to win and to prove me wrong, but I've been kicking these thoughts around all season long.

I don't know if this team is going to make the playoffs. It's pretty disappointing if they don't because they should be one of the eight best teams in the Eastern Conference.

Thats whats funny isnt it.

Its a sick, sick way that this team has with me.

Just when I think I am getting fed up they suck me back in. The fiance always says that it is just a game. Infuriating.
