I liked Mario. I was around 10-12 when he started dominating and that was about the time i started really paying attention to the NHL.

Plus my older brother was/is a huge Flyers fan.

And my dad is a lifelong Bruins fan, all 3 of us born and raised in Calgary.

I loved MArio too and that is how I became a fan of the Pens. Then JAgr. I will still remember David Volek scoring against Barraso and that is when my dad drilled in me to switch to the Islanders before it was to late. I should not have listened
