If Ramo's team gets eliminated then do you think he will join the Flames this season? If so who would we move? I'm sure there is a market for Kipper but would a team like the Canes with Ward down maybe want to make a deal for Taylor or MacDonald?

I truly think that if Ramo displays the same form of hockey he has been in the KHL, the Flames could afford to ship out Kiprusoff. The only problem, from what I understand, is that the move from the KHL to NHL isnt very smooth and quick and by the time he is ready, there might not be a whole lot of hockey left.

Then again...they are in the semi's...so. I think we could see him over the next month and he might have the opportunity to play a few games before the trade deadline comes into effect (Apr3), which would give the managment core a chance to see what they truly have.

I'd doubt, regardless of the KHL playoffs, we'll see Ramo this year. Summer time and bring him to camp to "fight for a spot"... So why did Montreal give him up again?

Well, he was still young and inexperienced...plus they had Price. Goalies typically emerge in their later twenties, thats why its so hard to draft them.

Although thats been the consensus so far, I cant imagine the Flames wont exercise every option they have at success. If Ramo is available to them, you better believe they will try and get him in the lineup if he's playing better than any two of their current tenders.

Ramo would never come over to the NHL for Montreal to sit behind Price. At least here he knows Kipper is at the tail end of his career.

Well...considering hes one of, if not THE highest paid goalie in the KHL....and he's only making around $2M per. NHL can afford to pay there guys more.
