Sure hope your right. Kipper should give them a boost. Just hope he's sharp.
In 2004 when Kipper came back from injury (wow 9 years ago) in his first game he won. It was against Bob Hartley's Atlanta Thrashers.
5-2 Flames! |

If Ramo's team gets eliminated then do you think he will join the Flames this season? If so who would we move? I'm sure there is a market for Kipper but would a team like the Canes with Ward down maybe want to make a deal for Taylor or MacDonald? - Flames in 6 04
The way his specific contract is structured he will not be free until April 30th. Effectivly this means he is not joining the team this year. His play suggests that he could provide at least league average goaltending which is generally all they will need. Just a bit better than what they've gotten currently even with Kipper. Kipper and Iggy are prime targets to move this year in particular due to contracts and as a fan it's frustrating to watch the Flames bungle the future. |

Afternoon boy's.
I'm gonna go with 3-2 Flames coming right down to the wire.
Also, someone will take a penalty for covering the puck with their hand, and every other fan in the league will complain the Sharks were softened up for us last night |

If you remember those first few games, Hartley had a big fit and talked about what awful giveaways there were. Kipper's numbers are the way they are because he was held out to dry. One could argue that our defensive mindset has improved... but not by very much. I'm interested to see the result tonight. |

I'm going to listen to this game on the radio so I can hear Peter Maher say, "Great Save Kipprusoff".

I love how when the game is on, winning or losing everyone disappears. As soon as we win or lose the wood work opens up. Hilarious! |

I wish I was. The feeds aren't on the same time though (gamecenter is a little behind) so I can't watch it and listen to Maher. Charlie Simmer has to want to punch him in the face.
I miss Loubo. |
