It's a young team and there will be these bumps along the way.

Let's just hope the young players don't get used to losing, or conditioned to think that a tie game in the third is a loss. If they drop another tie game going into the third, I will be quite concerned.

But just to use LA as an example, because some people are regretting the Richards/Carter trades--LA took a long time to become a playoff team. There was a three or four year period that they were basically a bubble team, waiting while their young guys developed.

There are guys like that in Timmonen talbot and Giroux but its the same old same old. It's no mystery Lavy has a short shelf life. When this milk has expired do you even bother to sniff it with bubbly chunks built up?

Kimmo is aging. Giroux has been sub-par for most of this season, and if Talbot keeps his play up I could care less if his ass is out the door at the end of the season.

We will see if firing Lava is the solution. I just happen to think its a much bigger issue that falls on the players management has put together.

How can anyone take this team seriously when Briere has the assistant captain on his jersey.

It's a lot of things. Poor defensive zone play and poor team defense in general, consistent mistakes in basic game play, and no accountability.

this team is proving they are nowhere near legitimate in any way.

it would be a first round bounce if they were to get in. No way they can beat boston, or any team that pressures and plays tight defense.

I don't despise that style. The Flyers haven't stopped playing. The effort has been there all game long. They just don't know how to play the right way.
