doesnt help ticket prices are driving out real fans. last game I went to I was surrounded by spoiled rotten kids who couldn't give a poop about the game and a 20 something girl who asked how many quarters there are in a hockey game.
yup. - hereticpride
My fave is the girl in the handicapped section who looks at hockey players on her tablet, phone, and mini-laptop all game and doesn't watch the game, but shows other fans photos of herself with players.
WHY ARE YOU THERE? AND WHY DO YOU BRING A ZOOMING CAMERA BUT SOMEHOW MANAGE TO BLOCK OTHER PEOPLE'S VIEW OF THE GAME?!?

What are the prices? - canadianpenfan
last I checked face value prices the cheapest tickets tend to be around 50 bucks. and you arent getting in the lower level very often for any less than 85.
only way I get to games is day of game deals on stubhub.
Time to hire Pierre McGuire. It gets him off TV and we get a new coach.
Win-win. - Flyskippy
I'd go with Murray. He's adaptable. For a guy that stresses defense, in 10 out of his 15 years as a NHL coach, his teams finished in the top ten in goals scored. The idea that he's some kind of Jacques Lemaire clone is idiotic
He knows how to instill discipline and he knows how to hold guys accountable. He also knows how to teach. Start the process of breaking the bad habits and instilling discipline now. There's no reason left to wait.

My tickets for the Flames are $162 each. They are lower bowl but it's to watch the Flames!
Count yourself lucky.

It's not concentration - it's strategy and execution. They set up a forward at the side-boards and he passes to a space - not a player. And that space was taken by the Penguins the last bit of the 1st and all of the 2nd and 3rd. Maddening. - Flyskippy
since these guys are playing like dogs, maybe mike vick would help...
Even if Pronger becomes symptom free from concussion, he has permanent vision damage. He stated today he has the eyesight of a 60 year old man. He has zero peripheral vision. Even if he wanted to play, there isn't a doctor that would clear him. - PLindbergh31
Yeah, that would be a huge issue.
There's next to no chance he ever plays in the NHL again, but it's good he's doing better and is starting to live his life again.
Sure. Pinching in, but all teams do that. And bouncing pucks, not a lot a player can do about that. - wolfhounds
No that's my point, I don't know how you pin that play on the coach. Alot of bouncing pucks and alot of players falling down tonight, the ice must have been in rough shape.

He's not playing again. I just hope his quality of life improves to where he can enjoy his family. Was tough listening to that news conference today. When he said he's not the Father he wants to be, because of these issues it really put things in prospective.

Agreed. And that play was, I believe, the classic 1 team almost scores, the puck goes out of the zone in a hurry, and the other team speeds down and puts it in the net.
I just can't fault Lavi for a team giving up a 3 goal lead.

It's not the coaches fault. They had a 4-1 lead after the first period. The players came out to start the second period with zero intensity. Hartnell said in his post-game interview that Laviolette drove home the point after the first period to stay aggressive and not sit back. The players have to be held more accountable.
