Voracek - 24 GP - 10-17-27
Couturier - 22 GP - 2-5-7
Cousins
Carter - 21 GP - 15-2-17
Simmonds - 21 GP - 10-9-19
Schenn - 23 GP - 6-13-19
Grossmann - 24 GP - 1-2-3 (obviously obtained from a pick from the trade)
Richards - 21 GP - 6-10-16
I'm sorry, I loved Richards and I appreciate what they both did here but I'd make those trades again. - nastyflyergirl
i'd make them too. was happy then. happy now. the irritation comes from the cup win, regardless of their reduced roll. it still happened in the first year. it irritates me more, because frick and frack were separated by holmgren, but they still magically reconnected 5 minutes later.

It baffles me that people actually call into the Barkann/Reese show with hockey questions.
Aside from that, I have no feeling for this game but I do feel a loss spells at least another loss in one of the two games this weekend. |

Yup. Carter pouted his way through a few months in Columbus and of course Howson ships him out to El Lay |

I actually really liked and like both players but I would too. We traded two very good (not superstar) players for some solid depth. If jake keeps playin like this, I'd do the carter deal straight up. |

I have to admit, it was bitter sweet to see Richards and Carter raise the Cup but I did get a little choked up when they gave it to Gags. That made everything right for me. |

Congrats bill on the little girl!! I'm expecting a little girl myself in a few months.
Anyways are those D pairings for the Pens confirmed or is it just a best guess? |

I could talk about your "fans" throwing batteries at players while they walk off the ice, thanks Philly for the protective Pope bubble they wheel out in between periods.
Or did you want to talk about beating someone into a coma after the Flyers Rangers winter classic?
Or maybe a good slice of your owner unloading the #2 goal scorer in the league?
How about booing a woman for dropping the puck, now thats a classy move.
I was just having fun posting a funny picture of Sid, no clue why you and your kind want to always have a fight. It was all in good fun. - nbartley9

I'm a hockey fan, I like hockey. You're embarrassing yourself and other fans of your favorite team. - bri29smith
No your the one doing the embarrassing with your honorable internet talk, give me a break. Yeah i hate the flyers and i hate flyers fans end of story, and to be honest i hate Pens fans that try and act all high and mighty talking with honor on the internet. |

Dave couldn't sing in the 70's. He's really no worse now, he just can't hit the yelps and wails that he used to hit.
I went to the "(frank) Eddie" tour, back in 2002 or 03. It was Roth as the opening act and Hagar as the "headliner". Dave came out and did 99% old VH, with 3 or 4 solo songs mixed in. It was solid, but it was kind of like listening to a VH cover band.
Sammy came out and blew him off the stage. His band was far more polished, he sounded great and they put on a great show. - Jsaquella
I agree with eddie when he was on stern back in the 90's... the greatest hits was out (+songs like me wise magic, etc) and speculation was that Roth was back in. Eddie said under his breath "he can't sing". that was~ '97. I've seen the YouTube clips of the last tour and they are substd. comparing them w/ 80's performances reveals how far he has fallen. if i were eddie, i would scout out VH cover bands. they would smoke present day Roth, who is a total embarrassment.
edit- i saw Roth circa '88 and he still had something back then |

I'm talking with honor? Gee, I just thought I was discussing hockey with some people who happen to live in a different city and prefer a different team. Its just a game bud, calm down ya yinzer. |

He pretty much sulked until he got out of Columbus. It ended up being Voracek, Couturier and Cousins for Jack Johnson and a 1st. Not as bad as before but still god awful. |

I liked Carter until the Jackets had to send a committee to Sea Isle to convince him to come to Ohio. That was an embarrassment.
He's a good player, but if that was typical of the kind of stuff he pulled when he didn't get his way, I'm glad he's gone. |

Ok, that's what I thought. I've been checking for set lineups but haven't seen any except for practice pairings.
Should be another interesting game. These pens/flyers games are going to give me grey hairs |

I've seen Roth both in and out of VH...he's lost a little bit off the fastball, but he was never really about the singing...Roth is more about the attitude. |
