Theyre a borderline playoff team with a healthy roster. With all the injuries ,these are two points you cant give away if your trying to get home ice in the east like this team is currently. As were the points vs all the other non playoff teams we have lost to in the last month. Something about bad teams brings pittsburgh down to their level this year almost every time. Its becoming a bad habbit

Playing down to level...ehh. The Niskanen and Neal (2nd penalty) was just dumb, retaliatory penalties. It's as if the team is completely unaware that staying out of the box is important.

I love how the pens play a solid game against TB, but can't do it 2 games in a row to save their lives. This is ridiculously inconsistent. It starts with the D and a close second are these coaching decisions. Every game there are players who camp in front of our goalie untouched.

On a lighter side, Tangradi finally scored.

if by you healthy you mean including pronger and meszaros i'd disagree that they're borderline. they'd be a solid lock. flyers are not a bad team. they're young and inconsistent, and have ravaged by injuries the whole season. need some stability on the blueline and they'll be fine.

BS This game is over. End of story.

Bylsma starts us off with sitting a guy like Despres for journeymen like Engo, and Eaton. Some skill would be nice right now. Then you sit Vitale who gives everything he has and play Jeffrey on the 4th line. What a waste.

Officiating is atrocious as usual but does it matter? Fleury and defense didn't come to play. The Pens should be embarrassed how quickly this team folds. No Leadership or coaching. Never before has this team needed a Gary Roberts type more.

My advice is punish Girouix every time he touches the puck. Nothing dirty but you go out of your way to run him. Him, Brierre, and Timonen. You get Hartnell, Simmonds, and Rinauldo to get pissed and lets let them take some stupid penalties for awhile.
