This blog is a perfect summation of this team. Talented, but poorly executing in games. Games are not won on paper.

Fourth, a shirt shooting vehicle like the Old Spice one I saw in Montreal back in 2002 will be implemented. Fifth, the organ will dominate music offerings with many of the old standards brought back. Sixth, clips of Gene Hart's PBP will be featured.

Their defense is also much better than the Flyers is, and they have some fairly young to--4 guys (Fowler, Sbisa) to help offset the veterans' cap hits. That's been the Flyers top problem; they keep bandaiding the situation, never actually going for a full rebuild, and because of that, when the cupboard runs bare, you run out of bandaids.

I gotta disagree. Simmonds, Voracek, Luke Schenn, Brayden Schenn, Read, Coots? If that isn't a big push to rebuild I don't know what is. I think we are in the middle of a rebuild, and this is what it looks like.

No, he was fine in limited minutes. But he's been struggling a bit this year in a bigger role with the Phantoms.
