This is one thing that sorely needs to be addressed in the offseason. We need AHL defenseman that can be counted on for a game or two every now and again. I'm sick of getting the Fosters and Liljas to try to cover that up. Give me the young guy over that any day.

No, he was fine in limited minutes. But he's been struggling a bit this year in a bigger role with the Phantoms.

Probably better than Gervais, but Meszaros is supposed to return tomorrow, so won't be hearing from Bruno for awhile

I'm going to say something on Gervais. He is a player that at his best, is a 3rd pair defenseman. He's a marginal player in this League. A player like that needs to be used properly, and as much as possible, in the right situations. A player like Gervais, if he is in situation where there is support, and solid team play, he can be serviceable. If not, a player like Gervais gets exposed for the weaknesses he has as a player. So with how the Flyers have been playing, this is what you get. He looks like the marginal 6th defenseman that he is. He has to be protected.

He's absolutely been overused, and it's led to his shortcomings being exposed. He's in a good spot as the 7th defenseman, assuming there's no more injuries moving forward.

I dont get why foster was canned so early, i mean he sucks, but imo he sucks less than Bruno.

I dont understand why they didn't go with a Gus/Foster pairing for a little bit. Gus and Gervais were way too similar for my taste.
