Pens vs bruins will be eastern finals - Rothey87
possible. boston definitely looks like the best team in the east. i think the pens have some serious issues, though, to be honest. but they still might be the 2nd best team in the east |

Cal Heeter was called up to the Phantoms...no reported injuries. ADK beats wondering if there's something afoot - Jsaquella
what would this mean? |

Missed 1st period. How was Bryz? - jstross
Realistically he only had a chance to stop one of the 3 goals. But it as a partial breakaway, so of course he had no chance on that either. |

Buyout. Time to move on. |

Great save there.
Horton literally skated through the entire team to set up that chance for Chara. |

I'm getting tired of playing johnnie Cochran for him too, he needs to come up with these saves more often even tho they aren't his fault he's gotta turn the corner and elevate his game, yes. |

Good to see Laviolette's move for a slumping veteran is to give him more time and the way to deal with a slumping youngster is to make his linemates the back-up goalie and the equipment manager. |

Backstrom, Hiller, Howard, or trade for Bishop.
There are always options. They can sign a goalie for a short term deal until they find another. |

id be easy on cooter, hes only twenty and cannot be expected to carry this team, sophmore jinx
also it seems like maybe bryz has ran his course and should maybe be traded if possible or bought out? |

Karlsson was replaced by Eric Gryba, a 24 year old career minor leaguer who had never played a NHL game prior to this year.
The guys called up from the Phantoms have done solidly, by and large. The mistakes are being made by veterans, like Braydon Coburn and Danny Briere. - Jsaquella
Briere has looked bad. He's playing like he's injured. And Coburn, jeez such a big drop-off from last year. I haven't a clue on this group. I'm not a Lavy cheerleader by any means. If his inability to make adjustment and motivate players is the reason for the poor season then give him his papers. I just don't know enough to make the call but I get a sense that him and the GM aren't on the same page. |

A bit unrealistic with the way the team is playing in front of him. And considering he's started the most games of any goalie in the league, playing the most minutes in a condensed season.

If we are going to start fresh mine as well. Buyout Briere and Bryz. Plenty of cap space available.
I would prefer to get Hiller. |
