Quick question: is bishop attainable in a trade? - JoeRussomanno
When Anderson returns, it's possible. They have Lehner, who is supposedly the goalie of the future, stuck in the AHL. |

The turnovers in the neutral zone today were just brutal. The defense is a complete mess and needs to be fixed. Not sure how they plan to do it. - stveshdy
I dont think it will be an immediate fix but it is possible.
You have short term stop gap options such as Streit or Visnovsky. Or you can load up and try and make a hard run at OEL.
Just a personal thing, but if they are giving up assets I want it to be for a guy with top d-man potential at the very least. No more mediocre guys best suited to secondary roles.
If they cannot get OEL, I would be happy with drafting Ristolainen, Nurse, Pulock or Morrissey. Signing Streit for a stop gap, and rolling out. This organization may need to learn how to be patient. |

For god's sake leave. If you're not going to actually talk hockey and just taunt like a spoiled brat just go. Plenty of pens fans on here who don't need you making us look bad. - schiefer466
Two Pens fans going at it on a Flyers blog.
Just when I thought it couldn't get any weirder around here. |

Ottawa has three solid goalies so it doesn't hurt to find out. Unfortunately, I don't have the GM's phone number or I would call and ask myself.

I wonder if Murray has one of those salad bar sneeze guards over his phone so he doesn't thpit all over it when heeth taking to other teamth |

I think they would be willing to listen on offers for Bishop, especially with Lehner in the wings.
I'd personally be happier going after Hiller. Depending on the price of course. |

I'm not either. But he's worth a look at least as a stop gap or backup. |

I'd rather move Briere and buyout Breeze. Save a buyout if needed. |

Thank you Boston.. Now come on buffalo... SELLERS!!!! - SMS4016
Grossman for Ference ?? |
|
|
|
I don't get it? You want buffalo to be sellers? If so not sure why. Buffalo can sell all they want but noone wants to buy anything from that rummage sale. - schiefer466
No... Want buffalo to win tomorrow so Philly can get playoff dreams out of their heads and be sellers at tdl. |

I think it's a no brainer on Briere. If he can't be traded before the TDL, there's no way that they shouldn't buy him out in June. |

At this point I would yes.
Used to be against it for Briere, and kind of neutral toward Bryzgalov.
Unfortunate but this season has me looking to get both out of Philadelphia. |

Hiller would be my top choice also just not sure what Anaheim would want. I know there's speculation out West that the team is looking to move him but who knows. |

That would be the perfect solution as long as Briere would be willing. |

If we get Perry one or both of Danny and Bryz are going.
Homer will blow poop up. Literally. If we get a top 5 pick, I wouldn't be surprised to be seeing Couts+ gone for someone like Shattenkirk or OEL.
This offseason should be very interesting. I dont like that we dont wait out for our players to progress and come into their own... Couts is having a bad season, he really is. But its the typical sophomore slump that has claimed many great players, including Drew Doughty.
All i would personally do this offseason is sign Perry, buyout Danny, Bryz. Package Read+Cousins/Laughton, maybe more for Bernier. Draft a dman like Nikita Zadorov, Ryan Pulock or Darnell Nurse. All future top pairing guys
Knowing Homer he will go batpoop crazy, offersheet Pietrangelo to a (frank)ing stupid contract, trade 1/2 our team and prospects and blow poop up |
